Center of Brain and Spine Surgery provides the neurosurgical services and care for patients at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital. We care for adults and children with a full range of neurosurgical services. Our patients range in age from newborn to geriatric. We treat all neurosurgical conditions from complicated brain tumors and aneurysms to diseases and injuries of the spine. Our Neurosurgeons also provide care to all patients brought into the Regional Trauma Center for all head and spine trauma.
	To schedule an appointment with our Neurosurgeons, please call 847-698-1088 and speak with our scheduling staff. At the time you schedule your appointment, you will be asked for information on your medical problem, your referring physician, your complete insurance information, and your referral. Please have this information handy when you call. If you are enrolled with an insurance company that requires a referral, we cannot schedule your appointment without it. Please obtain your referral before calling for your appointment. If you miss your appointment without notifying us 24 hours in advance, a $20.00 fee will be billed to you. Your CT, MRI or X-Rays (preferably on CD-ROM) and film reports must be brought with you at the time of your doctor's appointment. Please do not bring only your film reports. Also please bring a list of all medications you are currently taking, along with dosages and frequencies (you may bring the medication containers instead if that is easier).
